It is such an immense honor for a man to excel incredibly well in two fields and become a legendary tennis player and fashion designer concurrently. I am aware that there are countless gifted people like that today but Rene Lacoste, a French native born in 1924 did it earlier. Lacoste shoes are as stylish and preferred just like the brand’s fragrance and ideal sport collections. Rene founded his company and in 1927, he worn the Davis Cup for France for the first time ever which explains the brand’s correlation with tennis today.
